So, long story short I think this case is closed. I have to assume/hope you aren't the first person to tell them about it, but hopefully a fix comes soon.įor now, we switched from the KX driver to the PCL driver, and the issue seems to have gone away for everyone that we've tested. Thank you for bringing it to Kyocera's attention as I don't have that ability. ![]() It is unfortunate but I'm glad the problem is repeatable in other environments so we aren't alone and I'm not going crazy. They are definitely all at the latest version of Windows 10 since they are basically out of the box brand new. Just tried logstyles idea of trying a different print processor and it still crashed. I've contacted Kyocera and passed the details to them as it's Windows printing their printer fonts that seems to initiate the crash. Upgraded the test machine to 1809 and we've got BSOD in win32kfull.sys. Tested yesterday with 1803 - fully patched and it works as it should. His had crashed more than the other user since he kept trying to Server because the jobs were getting stuck in the queue during theĬrash. ![]() Happened I would have to restart the spooler service on the print I was able to consistently make his PC crash, even rightĪfter a reboot, simply by printing one of those two files. Have 256gb SSDs, Windows 10, 8gb ram, and all have Office apps through ![]() Workstations (Dell Optiplex 5060), 5 laptops (Dell Latitude 5490), andĪll the requisite monitors, keyboards, docking stations, etc. My team recently helped upgrade one of our clients with 21 new Can be worked around byĬopying contents of Word document into a new file which will print fine.
